Classic Cool 180° is a waterless engine coolant by Hawk (formerly Evans), developed for classic car engines primarily fabricated from cast iron with carbon steel, copper and aluminium components. It is the coolant of choice for restoration and classic car specialists. It is the choice of manufacturers such as Eagle. Because it contains no water, it eliminates the problems caused by water-based coolants, increasing reliability and extending engine life:
Not suitable for engines using thermo-syphon cooling systems.
Typical characteristics:
Flush the cooling system with Hawk Prep Fluid before filling. Manufactured in accordance with certified ISO procedural standards; Hawk co-developed the ASTM waterless coolant standards with committee D15.22.
